With the Whole Exome Sequencing plus (WESplus) approach developed by us, we also sequence clinically significant target regions outside the coding regions (exons). In this way, we combine the efficiency of exome diagnostics with genome-wide coverage of relevant regions with high sensitivity and specificity.
When used in a targeted manner, genetic diagnostics play a central role in making precise diagnoses, assessing risks and prognoses and selecting and managing individual therapies.
