With our own Whole Exome Sequencing plus (WESplus) approach, we also sequence clinically relevant target regions outside the coding regions (exons). This combines the efficiency of exome diagnostics with genome-wide coverage of relevant areas, at high sensitivity and specificity.
When used in a targeted way, genetic diagnostics play a central role in achieving precise diagnoses, assessing risks and prognoses and selecting and managing individualized therapies.
